NCAA Sweet 16, Upsets, and Blown Brackets

NCAA March Madness - Sweet 16 - Sports Bar Screams of Cheers and "NO" were heard at Sports Bars across the United States last week because of NCAA March Madness Tournament 2012 Upsets and Blown Brackets! Who would have though that Duke, Missouri, and our local favorite "Texas" would be out so early in the Tournament! ESPN Reported that there were only three people's brackets that are still "perfect" in their Bracket Challenge. If you're an NCAA March Madness Fan, Daddy-O's Pub is the place to watch every game while partaking in our Nightly Drink Specials or come party early for Happy Hour! While some of us are still reeling over the upsets and are adjusting our brackets. Daddy-O's Pub, in Lewisville, is the place to watch the NCAA Sweet 16!

Looking Over Four Leaf Clover - St. Patrick's Day

Sending Luck from our Bar - Happy St. Patrick's Day! St. Patty's Day is just around the corner! Make plans to be at Daddy-O's Pub in Lewisville, Texas for a Huge St. Patrick's Day Party this Saturday! The Chris Watson Band will be providing live music for the night and we'll have $2 Green Beer, $5 Jameson's Irish Whiskey, $6 Irish Car Bombs, and $1 Green Jello Shots, along with our regular Drink Specials. Plus, NO COVER! The party starts at 8:30pm! Come early and catch some NCAA March Madness action and have some Great Food!

So, have you ever wondered about what The Shamrock (Clover) Symbolizes for St. Pattie's Day? And, why it is so very important to the Irish Culture? Daddy-O's Pub has done some research in preparation for our party and this is what we came up with:

The Shamrock is a clover plant. It is Ireland's national symbol. The word "Shamrock" came from the Irish word "seamróg", meaning “young clover.” It is traditionally worn by the Irish and the "Irish-for-a Day" on St. Patrick’s Day. The Shamrock origins date far back to Saint Patrick himself.

Now Serving Twisted Tea at Daddy-O's Pub The Month of March is turning out to be a busy one for Daddy-O's Pub! All this week has been the beginning of NCAA March Madness! Saturday, We're going to have One of the Best St. Patrick's Parties in Town. Today, Daddy-O's Pub is announcing some new drink additions to our bar! Make sure you come out this week and try some of our new offerings.

Daddy-O's Pub is proud to serve The Original - Twisted Tea - Hard Iced Tea for $3 per bottle. We'll be serving 3 thirst quenching flavors of Twisted Tea: The Original, Half and Half, and Raspberry! Twisted Tea was introduced by the Boston Beer Company in 2001. If you are not familiar with the Boston Beer Company, they are the makers of Sam Adams!
