St. Patty's Day is just around the corner! Make plans to be at Daddy-O's Pub in Lewisville, Texas for a Huge St. Patrick's Day Party this Saturday! The Chris Watson Band will be providing live music for the night and we'll have $2 Green Beer, $5 Jameson's Irish Whiskey, $6 Irish Car Bombs, and $1 Green Jello Shots, along with our regular Drink Specials. Plus, NO COVER! The party starts at 8:30pm! Come early and catch some NCAA March Madness action and have some Great Food!

So, have you ever wondered about what The Shamrock (Clover) Symbolizes for St. Pattie's Day? And, why it is so very important to the Irish Culture?  Daddy-O's Pub has done some research in preparation for our party and this is what we came up with:

The Shamrock is a clover plant. It is Ireland's national symbol. The word "Shamrock" came from the Irish word "seamróg", meaning “young clover.” It is traditionally worn by the Irish and the "Irish-for-a Day" on St. Patrick’s Day. The Shamrock origins date far back to Saint Patrick himself.

Have you found your Pot of Gold yet?  Come on out to Daddy-O's Pub this week for Lunch or Happy Hour for a pint or two of "Golden Suds" and a Juicy Hamburger served by our Friendly Leprechauns. Daddy-O's Pub is turning Green this week! This Saturday, we've got a St. Patrick's Day Party to remember! The Party Starts at 8:30 pm. You don't want to miss it!
