It's the begriming of the week and tonight is Karaoke Tatoosday with DJ TStrick at Daddy-O's Pub. We'll have awesome karaoke talent, delicious food, and drink specials to get your week into a party mood. Daddy-O's Pub is a great place to party in Lewisville this Summer and is very close to Lewisville Lake!  Speaking of Parties, another place to party on the Lake is Party Cove! We've discussed "Party Cove" a little bit in our article about the History of Lewisville. Today, we're going to give you a bit more insight on the history of the "Party Cove".

Why not share a bit of this information to give you some help you with getting to know that person at the other side of our singles bar. There is nothing wrong with being single. We've found that most singles are actually quite happy and love chilling out at our bar and sharing rounds of our Drink Specials.

Hey Singles!  Bet you didn't know that the dating experts at Daddy-O's Pub are actively researching to find those juicy nuggets of information to help you find success in getting to know that person at the other side of our singles bar.  Today, we're going to give you some singles pickup lines that you should never use at our bar and grill.  Some of them are funny and some of them will leave you thinking... "Who came up with that crap"?

Please do not use these pickup lines, it may cause you to be either laughed at or leave a red hand print on the side of your face:

Do you have any raisins? No? How about a date? - Yep, there are no raisins at our Bar and this is a cheesy pickup line.

You Must Be Tired Because You've Been Running Through My Head All Night. - If the person has been running in your head all night, wouldn't you be tired also trying to keep up?  This is a tired and old pickup line, you'll probably get laughed at for this one.

As you know, Daddy-O's Pub is an Awesome Bar to meet Singles in Lewsiville. Times are changing in the Dating World and it seems that more singles are finding their potential mates online. Recently, Daddy-O's Pub found a neat little smart phone application that works with iPhone, Android, and Blackberry! It's called "SinglesAroundMe" or SAM for short! SAM seems to be the best of both worlds, it combines the online scene with the physical location scene and Daddy-O's Pub wants to be right in the center of it!

After receiving positive responses about our last singles advice article, Daddy-O's Pub has some more advice for those who are single. What's a Singles Bar with bartenders that doesn't come with some advice for singles? Today's topic comes after reading an article from Dr. Phil called "Single and Sick of it?". Yeah, we all know he's "Captain Obvious" when it comes to advice. But, there is always room to learn.  Right?  And hey... We hope that you'd enjoy it!

So... You're single and wondering why you haven't found that "Special Someone". Here's some tidbits of information that might just help...

1. Assess Your Past Relationships - Why did it end? Take an honest approach to looking back and seeing what mistakes were made and how you can improve upon the situation.

1. Always look your best and be punctual. - You wouldn't want to miss dancing with your date on Saturday's Live Music Night! Do we need really need to go into details about dress?  Really?

3. Compliment your date on how he or she looks. - You probably want to do this as early as possible, as to not getting caught wearing beer goggles!

4. Be interested and interesting. - Be a "Rockstar" and come serenade your date at our karaoke nights or encourage someone to sing a duet with you.
